The clinic’s mission is to relieve overcrowding in the public network and to offer care tailored to each patient, in a clean, friendly environment.

What is an IPS?
A fully autonomous healthcare professional at your service
A Specialized Nurse Practitioner (SNP) is a healthcare professional who can provide advanced medical and nursing care according to her specialty, without medical supervision.
When certain cases are more complex and go beyond her field of expertise, she can refer the patient to a specialist and ensure joint management.
IPS professional activities
- Diagnose diseases;
- Prescribing diagnostic tests
- Use invasive diagnostic techniques or techniques that present a risk of harm
- Seek consultation with other professionals or medical specialists;
- Prescribe, administer or adjust drugs and other substances;
- Perform various procedures, such as stitches, joint infiltration, etc.
- Pregnancy follow-up;
- Evaluate and monitor a patient in the context of a CNESST or SAAQ file;
- Prescribe work stoppage and document insurers' forms, where applicable;
- Offer palliative and end-of-life care;
- Perform other clinical activities

- Assess the physical and mental condition of a symptomatic person.
- Initiate diagnostic and therapeutic measures, according to a prescription.
- Initiate diagnostic measures for screening purposes, as part of an activity arising from the application of the Public Health Act.
- Perform invasive diagnostic tests and examinations, as prescribed.
- Carry out and adjust medical treatments, according to prescription.
- Assess a child who is not yet eligible for preschool education and who shows signs of developmental delay, in order to determine the rehabilitation and adaptation services best suited to his or her needs.

Mélissa
Labelle Laporte
A graduate of the Master of Science in Nursing program at the Université du Québec en Outaouais, she has been practicing as a front-line nurse practitioner since 2021.
Previously, she practiced as a nurse clinician from 2016 to 2021, in Quebec’s Far North, on the front line with First Nations, as well as in trauma/intensive care at Hôpital Sacré-Cœur de Montréal. She also teaches nursing at Collège Bois-de-Boulogne, mainly in pediatrics and health promotion.
Mélissa’s relationship with her patients is very important to her. Her active listening skills and ability to communicate easily with people enable her to offer warm, personalized care, while developing a relationship of trust and equality between patient and healthcare professional.


Nurse Clinician, Owner
Justine Paiement
Having obtained her nursing diploma from Cégep de Saint-Laurent in 2015, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Université du Québec en Outaouais in 2019, Justine has been practicing nursing since 2016.
She first worked in a hospital setting, in oncology, from 2015 to 2019, before reorienting herself to the front line. In particular, she worked in developmental follow-up 0-5 years, then helped manage a vaccination center during the pandemic.
For the past few years, Justine has been working in the front-line access department, for the 811 service.
Confronted on a daily basis with the shortcomings of the healthcare system, Justine is driven by the desire to make healthcare accessible to the entire population. Her dedication to her patients ensures that their needs are met.
